The Swan is a neighbourhood bar & bistro offering a hearty menu of great bistro food simply, yet expertly, cooked accompanied by fabulous cocktail classics, superb locally-brewed bottled ales and Henry Butler wines, all served in glamorously casual, comfy-cosy surroundings. The perfect place to meet up with friends old and new, or just to get away from it all by yourself, curl up with a good book, unwind and let someone else take care of the cooking, The Swan is a true local haunt, ideally situated for residents of the Original Kemptown Estate – or The East Village as we’ve decided it should now be called – their guests and chums.
We are currently open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, from 5:30pm; Tuesdays are our super Supper Club events nights (see ‘Diary’ for details); Sundays from midday are traditional English Roasts day.
