New year… about time!

To kick off I hereby extend an invitation to you to our Open Evening / Showcase on Saturday January 28th from 7:30pm. Building on the wondrous success of last year’s Supper Club evenings, and other teeny events, we’re putting together another gorgeous programme for you to enjoy in 2012. Come along on Saturday 28th to enjoy snippets of what will be on offer.

third Saturday of the monthOpera evening.
Thanks to the Lovely Russell and Gorgeous Nurpa we had the pleasure, in December, of hosting an impromptu concert-ina by Delicious Opera Diva Thomasin Trezise. The evening was so well received that we have decided to make it a regular event. fourth Tuesday of the monthRose Collis is On The Town
Following on from her wonderfully, whimsically informative ‘Up Your Street‘ Swan supper clubs in 2011 local historian, biographer and banjo-strummer, Rose, has agreed to slip on the deerstalker and whip out her magnifying glass for further investigations into the shocking, salacious and sensational side of historical Kemptown. http://www.rosecollis.com/
This year each of Rose’s probings will be themed to explore Kemptown in Theatre, Film, Science, Politics, Literature and Art.
Starting Tuesday February 28th. Each accompanied by a delicious three course light supper.

Dickens and Brighton – Rose Collis and Swan Players, Emma Kilbey and Gary Blair, present their blend of facts and dramatised fiction exploring the many links between Charles Dickens and Brighton. Back by popular demand and to celebrate the bi-centenary of Dicken’s birth.

Donna Fullman – gorgeous indie singer-songwriter returns from her tour of America and pops in at The Swan to share her latest tracks.

A birthday celebration of The Works of William Shakespeare with The Swan Players. April 2012
